Along with many health benefits, Neem flower expel intestinal worms and cleanses digestive system. Sweet is mixed to dominate the bitterness of Neem. Only warning is not to bite it. Just swallow in empty stomach to wash out the worms. I assure you won’t feel the bitterness if swallowed. Veppam Poo Pazham Recipe – Ingredients
Neem Flower – 1 tbsp
Cane Sugar/Karumbu Sarkkarai/Naattu Chakkarai – 1 tbsp
Banana – 2 medium-sized
Preparation
1.Wash neem flowers along with the stalk. Remove flowers and buds from the stalk. Peel off banana and cut into pieces.2.Add neem flowers and cane sugar to banana. Mash it well with hand.

Tips/Tricks
- Washing with the stalk is easy and so recommending it.
- Use any sweet banana variety.
- Just one table spoon per person will suffice.
- Customarily, this will be gobbled on “Panguni Uthram” or on “Ugadi”.

What time of day is best for neem consumption? Can you please do an article on when to eat what? According to time of day, season etc. I heard we shouldn’t eat bittermelon, amla, curd, and keerai at night…..This is bitter so we shouldn’t take neem at night?
As I have mentioned in the article, this has to be had in empty stomach in the morning.. We always eat neem(this sweet) in morning or neem rasam in the afternoon.. Not in the night..
Can we give it to 8 month baby or after 1yr nly we will give?
We give after 2 years.. You shall try after 1 year but not before that..
I dont get fresh neem flowers… Can i use the dried flowers ??
