Honey and pepper are natural medicines for cold and cough. Honey and pepper could offer you cough free night sleep. Let it be wet cough or dry cough, a spoonful of honey and pepper will calm down your cough.
Both honey and black pepper have antioxidants, antiviral and antibacterial properties to fight against the infections. Honey is a natural cough suppressant. Honey is said to coat the irritated mucous membranes and soothes the sore throat. Black Pepper is a natural decongestant and expectorant. Black pepper thins down the mucus to breathe easily.
To get rid of night cough, my first choice would be Oregano tonic(Link) in India. Here in US, my first option is Pineapple tonic(Link). I recommend pineapple tonic 1 or 2 hours before sleep and a spoonful of honey and pepper, just before bed.
