Raisins water for constipation in babies and kids

  • Raisins - 1 tsp
  • Water - 2 to 3 tbsp
  1. Take few raisins and wash it well in a bowl of water to get rid of sand or dirt, if any.
  2. Transfer the washed raisins to a bowl and add clean drinking water till immersing level. Let it soak overnight.
  3. The soaked raisins would have been bulged in the morning. Squeeze the raisins in the water.
  4. Filter the raisins along with soaked and squeezed water. Again squeeze the raisins through the sieve to extract till the last drop. Throw it out and give the raisins water to babies(4-6 months) as first food in the morning.
  5. For older babies(>6 months), just take the soaked raisins along with water in mixie and pulse it well.
  6. Then pour it into a sieve and press it with spoon to extract till the last drop. Give the raisins water to babies in empty stomach in the morning.
1.Prefer organic dried grapes to avoid chemicals in it.
2.Use big variety raisin. In India, try Aambur dhratchai(grape) variety.
3.If taking daily, just 2 to 5 raisins as per size(of raisins) and age(of person) should suffice.
