White rava upma. I just took out a portion from our upma for baby. It had 3 uncut green chillies.. Not so spicy as they were uncut. After taking out baby’s portion, I added salt , mixed well & just kept closed off the stove for 5 mins for us. If your baby can’t handle this texture, you can add little water or mash with banana and give. Recipe same as my wheat rava upma(link) but used white rava.

Idli with reheated mutton soup from afternoon.. I planned to give liver last month but I couldn’t get fresh one.. So delayed much...
Sweet potato 🍠 paratha with curd. Pressure cook 🍠 for 2 whistles. Peel the skin and mash well with potato masher. Add generous pinches of asafoetida, turmeric(optional) & roasted cumin powder, mix well and make big balls. Roll chapathi dough, place a 🍠 ball , pleat the corners of rolled dough around the ball, join together & pinch out excess dough. Gently press down, dust with dry wheat flour and roll to thin paratha: Cook in hot Tawa by applying sesame oil & flipping both sides. Cook in medium flame as simmering will harden the parathas. Immediately transfer to a hot pack & keep closed. Cut out thick edges & feed only the soft parts with stuffing. The parathas were so soft that I didn’t require curd. I put small pieces in a plate & she herself picked & ate it happily.. She loved it so much. Every baby is different. My first one loved porridges & coconut milk based bland dishes..but this gal is loving chapathis, parathas & spicy curries...
Rice with cauliflower kurma. In pressure cooker, add little water, place a bowl with wet cauliflower florets, close with a plate & cook for 3 whistles. In coconut oil, 1/4 big onion 🧅 chopped, 1 peeled garlic clove, 1 small pinch peeled ginger. Once onions are transparent, add 1/2 chopped tomato 🍅, pinch turmeric powder. Idiyappam with fish stew from afternoon. I refrigerated it and reheated in low flame for just 1 boil. Baby loved it & had one more idiyappam.. Give it as early dinner, 2 hours before sleep. If baby has not yet started to walk with support, don’t give this in night. U shall give in morning & afternoon.
Idiyappam flour is just like making millet flour in this post(link). Just replace Foxtail millet/Thinai with raw rice/Pacharisi. After grinding to flour, dry roast in low flame until hot to touch. Cool down and store in refrigerator. Boil water with lil oil, pour boiling water to rice flour and mix to form soft dough. Squeeze using idiyappam press over a cloth on idli plate. Once water in idlipot comes to rolling boil, place idli plates with idiyappam and steam just for 5 mins. Too much of steaming will make idiyappam rubbery.

Fruit bowl - Avocado 🥑 & chopped cherries 🍒 Peel the skin of cherries..
Rasam rice with Pomfret / Vaaval fish fry. Marinate fish with turmeric, roasted cumin & pepper powders, lemon juice for half an hour to 1 hour. In hot tawa, pour 1 or 2 tsp coconut oil & fry fish for 6 mins . 2 mins in each side without skin and 1 min each on sides with skin.. that’s it.. too much of frying will harden the fish.. Fish shouldn’t be under-cooked as well. 6 mins on a hot tawa in medium heat will cook the fish perfectly.. Feed without skin & bones..

Extracted second milk too and mixed with the first one to thin down the milk. Don’t skip dry ginger powder when giving coconut milk in night. Give early, at least 2 hours before sleep for proper digestion.

If u still feel it is dry, u can add some coconut milk or just plain water to moist it, but I didn’t need any..Do give with banana only, else it will be dry for babies to swallow.. My baby loved it 😋
