In Kerala, people take cumin seeds water in place of normal water in their daily life. Jeera Water Recipe – Ingredients

Preparation Time : 2 mins | Cooking Time : 15 mins | Waiting Time : 8 hrs
Makes : 2 litres | Suits: 1+ Years kids & Whole family

Water – 2 litres
Cumin seeds – 1 tbsp

Preparation

1.In the night, bring water to a rolling boil. Switch off the stove and add cumin seeds. Keep it closed overnight. Next day morning, filter the water and discard the seeds. Consume this water in place of normal water.How to make jeera water

Tips/Tricks

  • If you don’t like the strong flavour of jeera, you could reduce to 1/2 tbsp
  • If you forgot to prepare it in the night, just toss some cumin seeds in your water bottle and in just half an hour, instant cumin water is ready. You shall sip it now and then, and finally rinse out the seeds settled in the bottom !
